Property Manager (Commercial) – Indonesia

Director of Engineering – Caribbean
North American experience (USA or Canada) and qualifications is mandatory!
We have been retained to find a very strong, hands on, highly skilled and a hard working Director of Engineering for a large “all-inclusive” resort located in the Caribbean.  This luxury resort consists of 200+ rooms and suites, 12 F&B outlets (restaurants and bars), as well as extensive indoor and outdoor recreational facilities for families to enjoy.
As a Director of Engineering (DOE) you are responsible for all matters related to the repairs and operation of the physical plant and engineering facilities within the resort.  You will also be responsible for maintaining all mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment including heating and ventilation, also the general maintenance of the resort complex.
Mandatory requirements for this role are:
At least 6-8 years of work experience as Director of Engineering in a similar large island resort or hotel with central plant and Building Management System.
Extensive knowledge of A/C, ventilation, refrigeration systems and related refrigerants, chilled/condenser water components.  While solid understanding of main/ secondary drainage (plumbing) systems; and electrical power distribution systems is very important.
A very strong leader who is ready to “dirty his hands” (as and when required) and not just sit in his office and delegate.
Someone who will take his responsibilities seriously and lead his team well.
It is also very important for the DOE to be well versed in hydraulics, including balancing in waterworks/tanks; prime/standby power generation equipment and associated switchgear.
Must have experience in sewage plants, generators, and water parks.
Island resort experience is mandatory.

Salary in the range of US$95-US$108K + benefits (open for negotiations and client will increase their budget for the right candidate).

Director of Engineering – Middle East

Our client, a five star deluxe resort in the Middle East requires a seasoned Director of Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience leading a team of more than 40 staff including an Assistant Chief Engineer, Supervisors etc.  Must have proven ability and experience to ensure the efficient operation of the engineering department by providing proper maintenance to the buildings, its equipment and surrounding environment. Managing the engineering and maintenance operations of the resort, including but not limited to diesel plants, air conditioning, plumbing, water treatment, preventive maintenance, resort villas, ice machines, swimming pools, lighting, kitchen equipment, switch rooms, housekeeping/laundry equipment, electrical substations and grounds.


Degree in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Experience in a hotel or resort environment, with a five plus years at Chief Engineer level.
Knowledge of M&E new trends, able to bring and implement new ideas to enhance the maintenance of the resort.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with General Manager, peers and other hosts.

Salary Package: 
A highly competitive salary package with accommodation, medical benefits and family status. Please note no school fees will be provided so family with no school going children is preferred.

IT Manager - Caribbean
Our client, a 5 star Deluxe Hotel in the Caribbean requires an experienced IT Manager to manage the property’s Information Technology and computer systems and provide technical support on all IT related issues. The responsibilities of this role will be to Design, Develop and Implement effective IT systems, policies and procedures. The IT Manager must ensure the security of data, protect network access, implement strong backup systems and identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions. The IT Manager will also be expected to coordinate with all third party software vendors for smooth functioning of IT systems and to keep the IT systems up to date.

  • Experienced in international chain hotels in various roles of IT.
  • Minimum 2 years as IT Manager or 4 years as Assistant IT Manager
  • Hands on with ability to perform under pressure
  • Flexible with ability to prioritize various tasks
  • Able to handle the various IT functions for a luxurious resort
  • Pre and Post-opening experience is a strong advantage
  • Expert in hotel operating systems and in troubleshooting (Micros/Fidelio/Opera etc.) 

Basic Salary:  USD $72,000 Net of Taxes. Accommodation Provided. Medical insurance provided

Director of Information Technology (IT) – Western USA / Hawaii
An extremely knowledgeable and experienced IT professional is required for one of the most beautiful and award winning traditional resorts in Western USA and in Hawaii.  These resorts exude not only glamour, but also has multiple food & beverage outlets, as well as extensive outdoor and indoor recreational facilities, such as Spa, Golf, horse riding, swimming pools, etc. 
Our client’s first preference would be a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with certifications in; Security, ISC SCCP, ISC CISSP, ISC ISSAP. 
Other certification preferences include (but are not limited to):
GIAC Security Essentials Certification
GIAC Security Leadership Certification
ISACA Certified Information Security Manager 
Knowledge of hotel industry terminology, concepts and methodologies, along with extensive experience in enterprise security architecture design and management of both physical and logical information security systems is important for this role.   

The important skills/knowledge for this role include strong understanding of the PCI and HIPAA legislation, requirements and compliance, excellent time management, communication, organizational and decision-making skills.  You are also required to have demonstrated experience in security operations with respect to server and network systems, web applications and/or databases.     
To qualify for this role you must also have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to create and maintain formal written policies and procedures.  

Important IT related skills include; Microsoft Word / Excel / Powerpoint / Outlook / Project / Visio and MS Windows environment.  Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other industry related standard network administration methodologies and tools.
