Financial Controller – Dubai

A beautiful 4* luxury hotel soon to open in Dubai and part of a hotel brand seeks a strong Financial Controller, with solid experience in similar 250+ room hotel.

As a key member of the opening team, the Financial Controller oversees all financial and accounting related activities including budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, controls and capital expenditures, and ensures company procedures and policies being implemented and maintained throughout hotel operations. Strong knowledge in all facets of hotel operations, Accounting and systems plus Professional designation or degree with appropriate specialization in accounting extensive Accounting experience, ideally current experience as a Controller.
To qualify for this role, you must have minimum 6-8 years of solid experience in hotels that are part of a well-known International group.  Opening experience is a plus, also experience in UAE with a Deluxe hotel is preferred but not a mandatory requirement.  Excellent administrative, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Knowledgeable of all local Accounting laws is strongly preferred.
CPA/CA or equivalent Accounting degree is mandatory. Superior level of skills in computer technology and hotel applications of Opera, Micros, Hyperion, Excel and Word.
Language – English .

Salary: USD 55,000-65,000

Revenue Manager – Hong Kong

This 5* luxury hotel is looking for a Director of Revenue, with extensive working experience in Asia and especially in Hong Kong. 

The successful candidate would be responsible for the following:   

Maximizing yield for all room reservations, ensuring up-selling during demand periods and conversion over need periods, as well as entail management of the reservations staff and time, staff training, inventory control, planning and reports generation as appropriate and forecasting.   
He/She should be confident to advise the management team of key strategies to improve revenues and will be a person who can make things happen in the organization. 

He/she must have skills and knowledge in:

  • Revenue management systems as well as Travel clocks D360 program 
  • IdeaS system

You must be fluent in English with at least 5 years of Revenue Management experience in International luxury brands.

Salary: Negotiable.

Group Director of Finance – Indian Ocean

Our client a small International five star resort chain in the Indian Ocean requires an experienced Group Director of Finance. This role reports to the CEO and is responsible for all the hotels in the company's portfolio. He/she will direct and organize the activities of the Finance Department to formulate progressive and proactive accounting and finance policies and procedures. He/she will ensure that a perfect system of internal controls is in place in order to record all the financial transactions in a timely fashion for all reports of resorts in the group.  He/she will be responsible for providing advice to management whenever necessary in order to maximize profitability and shareholders' wealth.
The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills in order to maintain and also establish harmonious/labor relations and build a satisfying work environment; and improve productivity and performance standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance Management
Master of Business Management

10 years’ experience in hotel operations including a minimum of 5 years in management and ideally in similar position

Director of Revenue - Indonesia

A recognized SE Asian group who owns 5* luxury properties seeks a strong Director of Revenue for their 5* hotel in Jakarta.  This is a busy city center hotel with 700+ rooms, 5 F&B outlets, large banquets/meeting rooms.
As a Director of Revenue you will be responsible for maximizing revenue through room reservations by setting proactive selling strategies and action plans in order to achieve the budgeted revenue.  You must be “sharp and focused” with working experience in a very competitive market.

You will be responsible for maintaining a healthy business and your role will include key responsibilities such as: oversee the maximization of revenues through the combined efforts of the Reservations and Sales Departments. 
The ideal candidate will have a degree in the hospitality field with previous experience in a similar role for a minimum of 8 years within the Revenue Department of a reputable International hotel brand.
Computer literacy and previous experience with Opera is a must.

Assistant Financial Controller – Caribbean

Our client, a beautiful 4/5 star Island Resort located in the Caribbean with over 200 rooms and multiple restaurants, requires the talents of an excellent Assistant Financial Controller. 

As Assistant FC, you will be responsible for the hotel’s accounting and financial management requirements. Provide the management team with significant and timely information on the status of the hotel’s financial performance, and proactively assist with cost control, revenue improvement, profit enhancement opportunities and safeguarding of the company’s assets. You will be professionally qualified, experienced and well-versed with Accounting practices and procedures.

Salary: $76,000 - $84,000 USD yearly based upon experience, Bonus, Health Insurance, prefer single status but married considered with no children.

Hotel Financial Accountant Controller – New York, USA

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Financial Accountant Controller for a Luxury International Boutique Hotel Group with properties in North America and Europe.

The Hotel Accountant will provide financial information and support to the General Manager to ensure costs are minimized and profitability maximized. The Hotel Accountant will oversee and ensure accuracy of forecasts and financial data of the hotel. The Hotel Accountant will also be responsible for ensuring that the hotel control and accounting systems and procedures are implemented in line with company requirements. Hotel Accountant will always seek opportunities for the hotel to save money while enhancing the guest experience.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and or a similar higher education qualification.
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office, Visual One Accounting, and ADP Payroll processing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Energetic and friendly team player with a passion for the highest level of guest satisfaction
