Other important requirements include a good understanding of managing costs and being analytical, hands on training and leading by example, scheduling and forecasting around the business needs and a strong team leadership approach. 
He/she must also have excellent operations skills, a solid financial knowledge, superb leadership and highly motivated and results driven.

Banquet Manager – Maritimes, Canada

Our client, that operates a major luxury hotel property in the Maritimes requires a dynamic Banquet Manager whose demonstrated leadership skills will enhance the reputation, quality and performance of the Banquet Department

The Banquet Manager will a high energy, flexible and well organized individual.  This position will be responsible for managing staff and operations of the Banquet Floor to ensure that the cleanliness, logistic and aesthetics of Banquet rooms is up to Catering & Events standards and providing all banquet guests with exemplary service to ensure repeat business. As leader of the Operation team, he/she will be providing guidelines and procedures to ensure a perfect banquet service in all time.
Responsibilities will include Guest Services, Human Resources, including hiring, training and maintaining levels of staff as well as scheduling and evaluations.  This position also requires overseeing the planning of Catered events/functions.  Supervise and assist during events; giving instructions to Banquet Supervisor and Banquet Servers to ensure that all guest needs are met.
Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role in Food & Beverage, preferably sole responsibility for the operations of Banquets/Conventions in a reputable, high volume Hotel/Venue setting.
2. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, is service driven and. excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent time management skills & ability to multi-task as well as being able to work with flexible time requirements.
3. Must be computer literate and have a Hospitality Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Hotel/Food and Beverage.
4. Have extensive knowledge of food and wines, is familiar with all service styles and can improvise when required to ensure memorable service for all guests who attend catered events on our property.

Director of Operations/Restaurants – Bahrain

F&B Consultant needed for a 3 Month contract at a Boutique Property in Sri Lanka

Our client is opening a new Boutique Hotel in Sri Lanka and they are looking to retain the services of a well-experienced F&B Consultant to train and develop the entire F&B team and create a very strong base from which to build the resort’s culinary reputation.
This will be a 3 month contract wherein all aspects of preparation will be handled by the consultant. From the training of the restaurant and kitchen staff, to the restaurant layout, menu design and cost control measures. You will need to be very experienced in hotel and restaurant openings and be well organized so as to achieve all of the necessary tasks within the allotted timeline.
As the lead during the opening process, you must build an incredible team who are motivated by your inspirational leadership and who all understand what role they play in the overall success of the business.  You will create a passionate and professional culture and leave behind a strong and ambitious team that will be able to continue to build upon your teachings and achieve your vision.

(Opening) Director of Food and Beverage – Sultanate of Oman 

A Director of Food & Beverage is required for a 250 room beautiful new resort opening in Oman that will be visited by leisure and business travelers from all over the Middle East and worldwide.  This new property comprises of restaurants, lounge, large meeting/banquets and leisure facilities for both adults and children. 

This individual must possess the skills to achieve expected bottom line profit margins and must be "on the floor" supporting the F&B team.  Minimum 2-3 years of previous International and Middle East luxury hotel experience as Director of F&B is preferred, along with “Pre-opening/opening” experience. 

You must be customer and business oriented, be a strong leader, define, implement and maintain the highest standards of guest service, and must also be actively involved in executing revenue strategies and sales initiatives. 
Additionally, he/she must be able to think creatively to implement and "drive" successful marketing initiative, keep aware of trends, systems, practices and equipment in Food and Beverage.  
The ideal candidate will be an expatriate who is responsible for the overall administration and operation of the Food & Beverage Division.

“Japanese” Restaurant Manager for Luxury Members’ Club – Singapore

A Restaurant Manager is required for a newly opened Japanese Restaurant in a recognized Member’s Club in Singapore.
Current/previous work experience in a recognized Japanese Restaurant is preferable.
Our client needs an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the operation of the Club’s high-end, Japanese restaurant.  You will lead the opening and overall daily operations of the Japanese Restaurant and will ensure that the staff deliver on the members’ high expectations for service and quality.
This role reports to the Head Chef.

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for directing the Front of House team and working with the kitchen staff to ensure a seamless and exceptional experience by all of the members. Your previous experiences, knowledge and relationship development skills will be required in leading the team on a daily basis to anticipate the members’ needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
