The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position in luxury brands, along with successful experience in 5* properties.
Island resort experience is important, but not mandatory.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day operations of our Private Dining & Catering Department.
  • Ensure a high service quality to each guest following the standards of a luxury International brand.
  • Attend to all guest requests promptly with a personalized attention. 
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and communicate each appropriate information to the related departments.

Group General Manager, Restaurants – Uganda

Our client, a group of casual dining restaurants in Uganda, seeks an outstanding General Manager to create an exceptional and memorable dining experience for their guests.  As this group is in the process of opening new restaurants in Uganda and other parts of Africa, the General Manager must possess the management ability to grow an already successful business to a much higher level.   

These restaurants have won several awards for consistency and excellent customer care.  So, the General Manager is expected to be a highly qualified person having a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a management role in a similar restaurant group, along with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing multiple restaurants and establishing systems that promote consistency in food quality and service.    

The Group General Manager will be responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all aspects of the restaurants that are currently in operation and at the same time, assist with the opening of new restaurants.  Hence, this position requires a very creative individual with outstanding product knowledge and an outgoing personality.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can show great leadership skills and direction to an incredible staff of over 400 in a flourishing and well established casual theme concept restaurant operation.  You must have proven leadership and motivational skills to promote “team" spirit within this group and to direct them properly into achieving their short and long term goals. 

This leader must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to oversee sales, bring down costs, conceptualize marketing techniques to promote business and increase revenues, while maintaining quality of food and service standards at consistent levels.

The Candidate must come from a strong F&B background with the ability to complement the existing team. He/she must be creative and “out of the box” thinker who can make decisions and take initiative. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the training and development of his/her staff.

Mandatory requirements:
4* limited hotel experience.  No Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons “super stars”.
UAE experience is mandatory and some European or North American experience preferred.
You must have been a F&B Manager for at least 3 years.

Director of Food & Beverage (Restaurants/Bars/Events) – China

With more than 600 rooms and top class specialty restaurants, large banquets and catering facilities, this very busy city center hotel seeks an experienced professional who will report to the EAM F&B and assist in planning and managing the operations of the Food and Beverage divisions to achieve customer (guest, employees, owners, and brand) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.

You will also play an important role in developing the budget, marketing plans and objectives and manage within those approved plans. Food & Beverage education and training in a well-known institute in Europe or USA is mandatory, along with extensive experience in Michelin Star or equivalent recognized restaurants in 5* luxury brands. SE Asia and International work experience in large busy city center hotels is a must.

Food and Beverage Director - Caribbean

Our Client, a luxury hotel group, is searching for an outstanding Director of Food and Beverage for their island property in the Caribbean.
This property has a number of food and beverage outlets as well as room service, as well as, excellent banqueting facilities. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, energetic, keen, personable and self-motivated who excels in service and strives for excellence.

You will be responsible to oversee and direct all aspects of the F&B operation, including in kitchen. Provides overall leadership and direction for food preparation and service to meet and surpass service quality the various food outlets and banquets in maintaining the department profit goals and hotel standards. You will possess outstanding “high end” food and beverage knowledge food, beverage and service levels. Sound expertise in developing short and long term goals and strategies to achieve the company’s objectives for the restaurants, banquets, lounges and in room service. You must have clearly demonstrated so far in your career superior knowledge in employee training and development of staff and food and beverage department heads.

A Post-secondary education or equivalent in experience, including a minimum of 10 years food and beverage experience is desired. Sound knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the front-of-house and back-of -house in food and beverage operations. Island experience is highly preferred.

EAM Food & Beverage (with Culinary background) – Jakarta/Bali Indonesia

A 5* luxury hotel in the Jakarta/ Bali area seeks a strong Food & Beverage Director who also possesses recent hands-on Culinary experiences. This person will be responsible for managing the busy kitchens, and the operations of all of the specialty restaurants, bars and lounges at this beautiful 500 room, high-volume, center property.  This position will report to the General Manager.

We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage professional who is also a creative chef; someone who is equally comfortable being face to face with the guests, managing the kitchen and F&B operations, as well as controlling the financials (budgeting, costing, contract negotiations). The EAM F&B will be expected to be very involved in the daily F&B operations and to lead the FOH and BOH teams to exceed the culinary expectations of the discerning guests and the financial expectations of the Hotel Management.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in 5* large volume and busy city center hotels.
  • Over 10 years of experience with a minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role at a 5 star property.
  • Experience and knowledge in all aspects of kitchen and restaurant operations.
  • HACCP trained with Certification in food hygiene.

Salary: Strong base salary of $85,000 Net Plus accommodation, schooling, medical and yearly flights

EAM Food and Beverage – Middle East

This position is second in charge - so overseas the entire hotel in the absence of the General Manager. Day to day job would be to overlook all 8 outlets that the hotel has + banqueting (which is very large).

He/she must have ample experience in food and beverage and must have a free standing restaurant background. Looking for someone ‘young’ and energetic that can join our multicultural team.  

Must have a University Degree (done on campus / online certificates are not accepted) if you have a family that you wish to sponsor in Qatar

Salary: QAR 22,000 per month (negotiable). Family status (spouse + max 2 children that client sponsors. Two or Three bedroom apartment on hotel premises. Medical Insurance Worldwide coverage for employee + max. 3 dependents. Schooling for up to two children. Relocation assistance.

Food & Beverage Manager – Caribbean

Our client in the Caribbean, a multi award winning ultra-luxury resort requires experienced Food & Beverage Manager/Director to help manage an extensive F&B operation which consists of several F&B outlets(bars & restaurants), room service and extensive banqueting space. The role is pure operations, with a strong customer service focus, driving guest satisfaction and customer service to the highest levels, providing a safe, clean and progressive work environment for the team. Holding individuals at all levels accountable with strong follow up while providing motivation at all levels.

This position requires a hands-on manager where he/she is at least 80% on the floor physically working and 20% admin in an office environment. It is not an office orientated position. He/she should have worked in a large volume multiple outlet operation previously with extensive catering and banquets. He/she should be a college / university degree graduate with a minimum of 5- 10 years’ experience in a similar role. Should be able to handle fast paced environment and be able to work under pressure
