An exciting new Members’ Club is opening in SE Asia and our client is looking for a top General Manager with working experience in similar Clubs in Hong Kong, China or Singapore.

The General Manager will lead the opening and overall concept and operations of the Clubs various F&B outlets that includes restaurants, bars and
banquet facilities.

Opening and SE Asia experience is preferable, but not mandatory.

As the General Manager of this highly anticipated Luxury Club you will be responsible for directing the executive team and working with all F&B staff in turning the Club’s vision and concept into reality and exceeding the expectations of the members.

The General Manager will be responsible for anticipating, avoiding and rectifying potential challenges/issues in construction, design, operations and people management. Your previous experiences, wealth of knowledge and relationship development skills will be required in leading the club, its facilities and staff through a successful opening and into strong, long-term operations.
This role will draw upon your management abilities, operational knowledge and creative thinking; You will be the key player in establishing this Club as the place to be in SE Asia!


  • The candidate must have previous experience and familiarity with managing a Luxury Club or Hotel.

“Japanese” Restaurant Manager for Luxury Members’ Club – Singapore/ Malaysia

A Restaurant Manager is required for a newly opened Japanese Restaurant in a recognized Member’s Club in Singapore.

Current/previous work experience in a recognized Japanese Restaurant is preferable.

Our client needs an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the operation of the Club’s high-end, Japanese restaurant.  You will lead the opening and overall daily operations of the Japanese Restaurant and will ensure that the staff deliver on the members’ high expectations for service and quality.

This role reports to the Executive Chef.

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for directing the Front of House team and working with the kitchen staff to ensure a seamless and exceptional experience by all of the members. Your previous experiences, knowledge and relationship development skills will be required in leading the team on a daily basis to anticipate the members’ needs and resolving any issues that may arise. This role will require hands-on management abilities, strong operational knowledge and the development of a great rapport with all of the loyal and regular members.

Opening and SE Asia experience is preferable, but not mandatory.


  • The candidate must have previous experience and familiarity with managing a Luxury Club or Hotel.
  • Prior experience in managing a Japanese fine-dining establishment is mandatory.

Director of Culinary – UAE

A top Hospital in the UAE and high-end catering company requires an experienced Director of Culinary Operations. We are looking for a hands on, creative Culinarian who can work under high pressure. The Director of Culinary will lead the culinary team of over 90 people inclusive of both culinary and stewarding. With 2 direct reports (Ex. Sous Chef and Chief Steward). It’s a large operation with around 1000 covers for lunch and dinner … the Caregiver Restaurant will also be handled by this person. He/she would look after the 1000 outpatient requirements as well, banqueting also where there are meeting rooms and a Ballroom for 500 in-house guests. There are two VIP floors with dedicated kitchens and a Royal Floor with 4 Royal Kitchens besides a very large commissary style Main kitchen etc. Patients are given a choice of five menus to choose from in keeping with strict guidelines provided by 5 dietitians. There is also a large stewarding department for this kind of operation, again reporting to Ex. Chef.

The package is around USD 8,000 per month (Negotiable), housing allowance, transportation, etc. Family status for wife plus 2 children. International insurance .

Director of Food & Beverage - Five Star Boutique Hotel, East Africa

We require the talents of a personable Food & Beverage Director for a luxury boutique property in Kenya, part of a well-known international hotel group.

The F&B Director will supervise multiple department heads, as well as work in conjunction with Chefs, the F&B Controller and other managers to ensure smooth operations and maximize profitability/productivity while maintaining high service and product standards. The role will report directly to the General Manager and designated Corporate Office, if applicable.

This property has a number of food and beverage outlets as well as room service, as well as, excellent banqueting facilities. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, energetic, keen, personable and self-motivated who excels in service and strives for excellence.

You will be responsible to oversee and direct all aspects of the F&B operation, including in kitchen. Provides overall leadership and direction for food preparation and service to meet and surpass service quality the various food outlets and banquets in maintaining the department profit goals and hotel standards. You will possess outstanding “high end” food and beverage knowledge food, beverage and service levels. Sound expertise in developing short and long term goals and strategies to achieve the company’s objectives for the restaurants, banquets, lounges and in room service.

Our client in the Caribbean, a multi-award winning ultra-luxury resort requires experienced Food & Beverage Manager/Director to help manage an extensive F&B operation which consists of several F&B outlets(bars & restaurants), room service and extensive banqueting space. The role is pure operations, with a strong customer service focus, driving guest satisfaction and customer service to the highest levels, providing a safe, clean and progressive work environment for the team. Holding individuals at all levels accountable with strong follow up while providing motivation at all levels.

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall operation of his/her assigned restaurants. Key responsibilities include; team performance, increased sales and profitability, effective cost controls, the development, training and retention of talent. The goal is to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible in the complete planning and management of the F&B front of house operation.   • Prepares Daily Bar Inventory and Sales Report, Inter-Transfer Report, Daily.
  • Breakage/Spoilage/Spillage Report, Full Bottle Sales Report, Daily operating equipment inventory for the bar.
  • Prepares Beverage Supplies, Operating Supplies and Food Supplies Requisition for the Bar.
  • Accounts for the sales of the outlet in the shift assigned.
  • Responsible for turning over the sales and the report for the day to the Head Cashier.
  • Conducts monthly inventory of the operating equipment in the bar.
  • Participates in association and club membership related to bar/cocktails and wines to update knowledge on latest service style and products, as well as promoting the image of bar.
  • Performs any other tasks assigned by the Restaurant Manager which leads to guest satisfaction and profit for the Hotel.

Ensure the maximization of all hotel revenue, contributing to the achievement of the Food & Beverage revenue budget. 
Candidates must have current or recent working experience in Malaysia or Asia in hotels which are boutique, Design or W Hotels style.

Restaurant General Manager for a Group in Tokyo

We are working on behalf of a well-established and growing restaurant group that has a variety of establishments throughout Asia. We are seeking a Restaurant General Manager to join the team in Japan and to lead the operations as the group continues to expand. The successful candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and experience with opening stand-alone restaurants.
The successful candidate must speak fluent Japanese

Under the general guidance of the Owner, the Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing the daily restaurant operations while also looking to the future and assisting in the strategizing and implementation of the expansion plans. The Restaurant GM is expected to develop and market ideas to promote business; manage and develop the staff; meet budgeted productivity, control costs and ensure that all guests have a rewarding and memorable experience.

Duties & Functions:

  • Promote restaurant business and continually source new business while building loyalty with existing customers
  • Research, study and analyze the marketplace and economic climate to help plan and implement growth strategies for the brand within Japan/Asia.
  • Consistently monitor quality of service and product delivered on property so as to build upon the restaurant’s strong reputation
  • Build strong business relationships with all 3rd party F&B partners
  • Ensure that staff receives consistent and proper feedback and training as well as clear direction
  • Monitor performance with respect to the restaurant budgets and manage accordingly

Specific Job Knowledge & Skills:

  • Previous Experience working in Asia (preferably Japan experience as well)
  • Strong verbal communication in Japanese, fluent in English
  • 5+ years’ experience in High-end Food and Beverage operations as well as senior F&B management experience
  • Experience opening a stand-alone, high-end restaurant is a big advantage
  • Ability to change focus from macro to micro issues as needed throughout the course of the day/week/month.
  • Ability to build a strong team and lead them forwards while maintaining a positive and productive working relationship

Salary and Package Details:

As such, a strong salary will be provided as per the skills and abilities of the candidate.
A generous bonus structure will also be offered as per performance.
