Casino and Spa Operations

Vice President Casino Operations – Western Canada

**Only Canadian Citizens will be considered for this opportunity**

We have been retained to find a Vice President of Casino Operations for one of our hotel/casino clients who is operating a top class property in Western Canada. They are seeking the talents of an outstanding individual who will possess excellent knowledge and experience for “one of the largest and best” Casinos in North America.

Reporting directly to and working closely with the President, the VP will be responsible for the entire operations of this world class casino to ensure that all financial goals are met and superior service standards are maintained at all times. Your main responsibilities are to oversee the Table Games, Slots, and Customer Service/Development with over 500 staff members.  You must also demonstrate the ability to train and develop the staff in these divisions in order to provide consistent and elevated standards of service to all guests. 
For this senior leadership role, our client has emphasized that they would like someone with at least 10-15 years of senior level experience in fast paced Hotel and Gaming operations; this includes extensive knowledge in Table Games and Slots.  Exposure to Asian casino players and their customs is a major advantage. 

Other important requirements for this role include (but are not limited to): 
Extensive Casino Operations experience in Canada is mandatory, while USA experience would be an asset.
Previous management experience working under state, federal, and gaming regulations.
Good working knowledge of PC computer software programs.
You must have or be eligible to receive a Gaming License.

Opening luxury General Manager – China

A newly opened 5* hotel located just outside of Hong Kong seeks a General Manager who has represented or worked in any one of the comparable luxury International brands.  This is the group’s new brand and they are in the process of adding more hotels under their flag.  Hotel companies like Bulgari, Ritz Carlton, Jumeirah would be in their corporation set.     

The General Manager must have good business sense to manage this hotel, which comprises of more than 245 rooms, specialty restaurants, bars, lounges and conference facilities.

This person must be a self-motivated General Manager with experience in 5 star properties.  You must have a successful history of increasing revenues and profits by implementing aggressive marketing initiatives, improving productivity, customer service and team building.  
The GM must be very hands-on and a creative individual with an outgoing personality and an approach of ‘’thinking out of the box’’.  It is important for the General Manager to possess strong interpersonal skills. 

You must have extensive work experience outside of Asia. 
The candidate should be very goal oriented, results driven and strives hard to meet high standards and leads a team to do the same.

Vice President Hotel Maintenance/Engineering – Germany

An established European Hotel group, considered amongst one of the largest and most respected Hospitality Management Companies seeks a German speaking Vice President Maintenance.   
PS: “Hotel” Engineering and Maintenance experience is mandatory. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an extremely hands-on maintenance professional to oversee the engineering and maintenance operations of their many hotel properties.  As this group owns and manages over 75 hotel properties, the VP Maintenance will be responsible for all matters related to the repairs, maintenance and operation of the engineering facilities for the group’s properties.      
Fluency in German and English is a mandatory requirement. 

Working experience in Europe is mandatory and minimum 10 years of experience in a senior post would be considered a valuable asset.  You will also be responsible for maintaining all mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment including heating and ventilation.  
In addition, you will have significant technical experience in engineering disciplines related to the hospitality industry, in order to support and guide your team. 

Ideally a degree in mechanical and electrical engineering with at least five years of regional experience within the hospitality industry is preferred and the ability to find fault and rectify subsystems is essential. 

Salary: Euros 140,000 per year (range). 

French speaking General Manager – France

The ideal General Manager would be knowledgeable in Food & Beverage, with strong leadership skills, and thorough understanding and background in Sales & Marketing, especially with knowledge of the  current “French” hotel scene.

He/She will be responsible for the overall success of this hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met.  You are required to manage all areas of the hotel in accordance with brand standards to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality. 

The successful candidate should have the ability to implement company policies and procedures that will meet or exceed owner and management expectations. The candidate should have the ability to direct, oversee multiple tasks simultaneously and have the ability to oversee the security function to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, associates and hotel assets.

Other requirements also include meeting or exceeding planned objectives for revenue and profit, maximize revenue, take proactive approaches and perform hands-on duties as needed to deliver guest services. 

Good working knowledge of computers and systems is required, along with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and team building skills with the ability to coach, mentor and motivate the hotel staff.

General Manager – Caribbean

If you are a service General Manager who enjoys making guests say “I cannot wait to return to the Resort again”, then this is the opportunity for you to work in one of the beautiful and sought after islands located on the coast of Central America.

Leading and operating the resort/residences executive team and reporting to the Managing Directors, the General Manager will be responsible and accountable for the creation and implementation of all aspects of this unique resort and residences.  The General Manager will ensure the properties’ success in establishing it as the premiere resort in the Caribbean. 
For this role, our client asked for someone with minimum 10 years of operations experience in a senior role (or as a General Manager) within luxury and award winning International resort brands in remote island locations, preferably in the Caribbean or in Indian Ocean (our client likes Como, Aman Resort, etc. experience).
Pre-opening/opening experience in a senior role will be an asset, along with experience in managing multi-unit developments such as resort, villas and residences.

University degree or equivalent education is required.
A previous senior management position with a resort operator is important. 
Ideal candidate will also have experience in the Caribbean resort industry.
Resort (or hotel) pre-opening experience at a senior level would be an asset.

Vice President Food and Beverage Operations – British Columbia

We are conducting a search for an outstanding Vice President, Food and Beverage Operations for one of our hotel clients that operate a first class property in British Columbia.

They are urgently seeking the talents of an outstanding individual who will possess excellent large volume and quality all-round food and beverage knowledge, as well as, having an eye for detail. The candidate will oversee the entire food and beverage operations to ensure that all financial goals are met and superior service standards are maintained at all times.
Your main responsibilities are: 

  • To oversee the entire Food and Beverage Department, which consists of over 75 team members and this position reports to the General Manager.
  • This senior leadership role is responsible for all Food and Beverage operations, customer service, employee development and financial management in a twenty four hour enterprise.
  • The Director of Food and Beverage will demonstrate the ability to train and develop both Front & Back of House Managers, to provide consistent and elevated standards of service to all guests.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Hospitality, Entertainment or Gaming, industry and a proven track record in a fast paced Food and Beverage environment.
  • Building, developing and implementing new creativity and trendy Food & Beverage concepts and experience in all areas of food and beverage and have a strong banquet, culinary and wine knowledge
  • Through your outstanding communication and effective management and problem solving, skills you will be a "Champion" in professional management development and maintain a close and effective working relationship with all food and beverage leaders and colleagues through their respective departments.
  • A University degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management is strongly desired for this position.
  • You will also have a proven history of analyzing and understanding food and beverage business trends to develop accurate forecasts and strategies to maximize profits.
  • Direct and assist in the development and implementation of innovative promotional and sales events.
  • A strong culinary background is mandatory as well as experience working in a union environment.

Luxury Hotel Group Director of Operations/Marketing

To qualify for this role, you must currently hold a “Senior General Manager's” post with solid South East Asia and International exposure/experience in "Luxury" and top 5* International Hospitality Groups. Multi-unit experience is very important, but not mandatory.

An Independent and Superior SE Asian group known worldwide for their “luxury” and award winning properties is currently seeking an experienced General Manager to take the responsibility of the Operations and Marketing of the group’s 5* luxury and award winning properties in Indonesia. Based at the Corporate Office and reporting directly to the CEO/COO of the Group, the Director will have to support and assist the CEO with the operational and marketing functions of all the properties in Indonesia, as well as new upcoming properties in SE Asia.
The successful candidate would presently be in the position of a General Manager in a large hotel, preferably with marketing background and experience in an international business environment.

Vice President of Operations – Hong Kong

A highly regarded International luxury boutique company will be opening their office in Hong Kong and are looking for an experienced multi-unit General Manager with SE Asian experience (mandatory), as well as experience in the luxury boutique market.  These properties have limited service, but have some of the highest customer ratings in the industry!

The VP Operations will report directly to the CEO for assignments and instructions, and lead functions/activities of the group’s operations with other Head of Functions. 

Work Experience:

Minimum 10 years of multi-unit hotel GM’s experience, with minimum of 5 years working experience in SE Asia.  Hong Kong experience a plus!
Corporate experience in international or luxury brand is preferable, but not mandatory.
Experience with creating and implementing processes that result in quality business performance.
He/She also should have great execution skills while setting realistic steps and timelines.
Proven track record in making sound business decisions, having solid leadership skills and the ability to direct and motivate staff.


Bachelor Degree holder or above in Hotel Management is preferred

Hotel Manager – Caribbean

Our client, a top rated hotel seeks a Hotel Manager to oversee operations of a very nice property in Jamaica. This position reports to the General Manager and is accountable for overall operations of the resort by participating in the decision-making related to the hotel policy, philosophy, directions, goals and objectives and by taking appropriate action for their implementation as directed.

Candidates must possess a minimum 5 years in an EAM/Hotel Manager role with a top quality and luxury resort/hotel property. Resort experience is a must and they would like to hire someone with current or previous Caribbean island resort background.

Oversees the performance of the Rooms Division with the Front Office Manager, the Executive Housekeeper, the Guest Services Manager, the Security Manager and Health Club Manager, F&B and Engineering Departments. Provides guidance and assistance in the execution of their responsibilities and helps them set their respective departmental objectives under the direction of the General Manager.

Directs and controls all Rooms, F&B and Engineering heads to ensure that all day-to-day operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are being met.  Oversees the service standards, quality, consistency and presentation in the outlets under his/her responsibility to ensure that they conform to the requisite standards of the resort and meet or exceed customer expectations.

Excellent salary of 120,000 USD base gross taxable, plus housing for single/young family, bonus and excellent benefits offered. Searching for a career minded individuals that will accept this role that will be your last number two position before you will be invited to take on your own resort General Managers role with this company within the next 24 months.

Chief Operating Officer – Hotels Division, Pakistan

The COO for the Hotels Division of one of the leading hotel groups in Pakistan will be responsible for 5 existing properties and around 5 to 6 properties that will be opening in the next few years. The General Managers of the hotels will be reporting to this position and the later will be reporting to the Group’s Executive team.

Ideal profile:

  • Previous experience as COO/ VP Operations or General Manager with multi-unit experience.
  • International brand experience in a five star deluxe hotel
  • Experience in The Far East or Middle East or Southeast Asia a must
  • Great people skills with excellent mastery of the English language


Compensation: Tax free salary of $140,000 net per year (negotiable depending on experience) plus bonus based on performance, car, housing, insurance, ticket, and other standard expat benefits.

Corporate Lifestyle Hotel/Hospitality Interior Designer – Florida, USA.

(Only those who have US Citizenship or US Work permission will be considered)

A major American Hotel Group who manages luxury properties and casinos in the USA and the Caribbean, seeks a Corporate Interior Designer for their Miami Florida head office with an extensive background in high-end hotels worldwide.

The primary responsibilities for the Corporate Interior Designer are to lead and direct the Interior Design department operations. This includes, but is not limited to, creating and executing a strategic plan to develop and build new, cutting edge, significant interior design concepts. Must have extensive experience in all project phases from concept through to completion, as well as top-notch design, graphic and presentation skills. Lifestyle and Contemporary design experience is mandatory.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years’ interior design experience with major 5-star properties like, 1Hotel, W Hotels, SLS, Edition, Morgan’s Hotel Group, etc. They must be extremely creative and resourceful and have a sharp eye for design trends and attention to detail. Time management and the ability to meet deadlines is vital. Minimum 3 years’ experience in an architectural office environment is required and an architectural background is preferred, but not mandatory. Person will report to COO and work in tandem with the VP, Creative Entertainment.

Mandarin speaking Vice President of Development – China

A Mandarin speaking Vice President Development is required by one of the leading hotel and entertainment companies in the world.  This will be a new office to oversee their development in China.

The individual must at this time be holding a senior development role with a well-established hotel group in SE Asia.  You must not only have development experience, but some project management experience as well, since the role will also be as a liaison between the agreements that are already in place as well as secure more development opportunities in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the development within an International hotel company, spanning hotels, resorts and luxury properties.  China and SE Asia region knowledge will be mandatory.

The desired candidate is likely to possess a University degree in Entertainment, Hotel Administration or Business Administration, and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in hospitality development or related experience. 

Expertise in hotel feasibility and valuation, management contract negotiation, finance, acquisition and general hotel development experience and detailed understanding of development patterns and in-depth understanding of the hospitality sector are critical characteristics.

As an integral member of the company’s executive team, the candidate must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and exemplify the highest standards of honesty, integrity and discretion.

The role can be based in Hong Kong or in China. Salary will be above the going market

Marina Manager – Middle East

One of the most luxurious marina resorts in the Middle East requires a Marina Manager. The Marina Manager will report to the Leisure Director and will ensure the smooth daily operations of the Marina Department, including staff management, safety and security of the staff and the marina members
This marina features one of the most modern and extensive facilities of the region with a large capacity of wet berths for yachts and boats 

Job responsibilities include

  • To prepare an extensive health & safety program for the staff and the marina users
  • Liaise with facilities department any maintenance issues that require attention
  • Prepare annual departmental budget and ensures that all revenue targets are met
  • This person will report to the Director of Leisure and cover for that person if required
  • Report on a weekly and quarterly basis on department performance
  • To supervise staff interaction with guests and ensure the highest level of customer service is provided according to the company’s SOP

Background requirements

  • Five years of previous experience on a similar management position
  • Luxury hotel background
  • Minimum of skipper level sea faring license and first aid training
