(French) Spa Manager – French Polynesia

For French Nationals Only!

We have been retained to find an experienced Spa Manager for a newly renovated resort in French Polynesia that is visited by guests from around the world.

To qualify for this post, you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a 5* luxury resort, as this property is part of one of the largest International brands in our industry.  
Pre-opening and opening experience within an international group would be preferred, while island resort experience is an asset.
Fluency in French and English is a mandatory requirement.

The Spa Manager/Director will be responsible for the day to day operation of the resorts well known Spa.  As a Spa expert, you will ensure to provide high standards in regards to the guest experience and treatments, making sure to offer a personalized service and experience for all guests.

Our client seeks someone who can deal with inquiries, problems and complains in regards to Spa Activities, as well as ensure guest satisfaction.
You must be passionate about Spa & Wellness and be a leader who knows how to create a good cohesion and team spirit.  You will be a mentor for your international team, lead by example and enjoy training team members on new SOPs and procedures that you will implement.

A good Spa Manager/Director will be capable of developing the revenue and attract guest within the resort.  You will sell products and treatments and find creative ways to engage the guest.

Executive Chef - Casino - Western Canada

Our client is one of the largest casino operators across Western Canada, they are looking for the talents of an Executive Chef for one of their casino properties in Alberta. This person will be in charge of managing the culinary team for the casino reporting to the general manager.

Background and Requirements:

  • Three years of experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef
  • Type of Cuisine: defined as contemporary casual dining
  • Red seal certification or equivalent  
  • To perform all the admin duties that come with a management role, including staff management and procurement
  • To oversee culinary operations of one restaurant and support banqueting events for small meetings and private events
  • Food cost control

Benefits

  • This position will offer a fair base salary of up to $60,000. Bonus and other incentives such as insurance, medical and RSP

Sales Executive Manager – Casino Player Development, Ontario

One of the casino properties in Ontario is looking for an exceptional Sales Executive who will be in charge of Player Development. This casino has more than 1,000 slot machines and will double its size in the next two years. Once the casino expands its operations, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to growth within the company, as they will also enlarge the team size, duties and benefits for the candidate
This person will work closely with other areas of sales, marketing and guest services, in order to ensure the highest guest experience for the customers of the casino. They will ensure that the VIP guests are being treated as expected of our client's highest standards of service

Background and requirements:

  • Client attraction and retention is essential for this role
  • Maintains relationships with VIP guests through personal contact by phone and in person with the ultimate goal of increasing new business
  • Will create a sales strategy to attract new accounts from the local community as well as  the region and other provinces of Canada
  • Will manage a team between 6 to 10 people, including VIP Hosts, a shift manager and an assistant manager
  • Additional languages : Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi/Hindi or French would be great asset
  • A person with a strong sales and business development will be considered without casino experience
  • Responsible for the ongoing training, supervision, and development of Player Development staff
  • Starting date: last week of July

Spa Manager - Indian Ocean

We have been retained by our client, a beautiful new 5 star Resort & Spa in the Indian Ocean with just over 200 rooms and multiple treatment rooms, whom seeks a SPA MANAGER. This resort is much more than just a holiday destination that offers a stylish island setting with extraordinary restaurants and bars, and plenty of on-site activities to choose from. There is a large natural lagoon and lush tropical island surroundings that will simply take your breath away!

The Spa Manager will be highly involved in shaping the business model, the treatment program and protocols, as well as the recruitment and training process.
 
REQUIREMENTS:

  • The Spa Manager will have at least 2-3 years of management experience
  • Revenue management and P&L responsibility
  • Opening experience and exposure to concept and treatment development will be an advantage
  • Experience managing multi-cultural team
  • Asian or European experience an advantage but not mandatory
