Executive Vice President – Thailand

This is an excellent corporate management opportunity for an entrepreneurial hospitality executive from a leading hotel company in SE Asia. An Executive Vice President is required for a highly respected hospitality group, considered as one of Asia’s most professionally managed hotel companies.  This is an outstanding opportunity to join a progressive expanding brand with almost 50 hotels globally.

The Executive Vice President will be directly responsible for directing and supervising division managers and overseeing individual business units. Substantial hospitality industry experience and a broad knowledge of Thailand and/or Asian hotel market are absolutely essential. The ideal candidate must be a hands on General Manager who has held a Cluster General Manager management or regional role, supervising at least 5 Hotel General Managers reporting to them.

You must take full accountability for the profitability, operations, standards and further improve the service and product maintenance standards for which the Company is already well known. Supervise the development process for new properties and renovation, and upgrading projects for existing hotels. Important requirements: You must have extensive Thailand and/or at least SE Asian experience. Strong financial and business development capabilities. Opening experience is important for this role. Highly service oriented in multi-cultural environments. First-class people management skills across multiple jurisdictions. Maturity of approach in dealing with owners and principals. Education and experience commensurate with this senior role. Extensive network among hospitality executives in Asia. Knowledge of multi-brand concepts.

General Manager – Dubai

Our Client is looking for General Manager for an upcoming property in Dubai, who has strong Food & Beverage background.

Objective: To serve the needs of the business, guests and colleagues by developing and implementing strategies to manage & supervise the property and maximize the revenue of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
•Planning, supervising and managing the property from pre-opening stage.
•To ensure property is opened as per the timelines with all the departments, outlets and employees in place.
•To play important role in the hiring process.
•Developing and implementing standards operating procedures (SOP) across property in line with positioning.

He/She will be responsible for the overall success of this hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met.  You are required to manage all areas of the hotel in accordance with brand standards to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality. 

The successful candidate should have the ability to implement company policies and procedures that will meet or exceed owner and management expectations. The candidate should have the ability to direct, oversee multiple tasks simultaneously and have the ability to oversee the security function to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, associates and hotel assets.

Other requirements also include meeting or exceeding planned objectives for revenue and profit, maximize revenue, take proactive approaches and perform hands-on duties as needed to deliver guest services.

“Opening luxury” General Manager – China

A newly opened 5* hotel located just outside of Hong Kong seeks a General Manager who has represented or worked in any one of the comparable luxury International brands.  This is the group’s new brand and they are in the process of adding more hotels under their flag.  Hotel companies like Bulgari, Ritz Carlton, Jumeirah would be in their corporation set.     

The General Manager must have good business sense to manage this hotel, which comprises of more than 245 rooms, specialty restaurants, bars, lounges and conference facilities.

This person must be a self-motivated General Manager with experience in 5 star properties.  You must have a successful history of increasing revenues and profits by implementing aggressive marketing initiatives, improving productivity, customer service and team building.

The GM must be very hands-on and a creative individual with an outgoing personality and an approach of ‘’thinking out of the box’’.  It is important for the General Manager to possess strong interpersonal skills. 

You must have extensive work experience outside of Asia.
The candidate should be very goal oriented, results driven and strives hard to meet high standards and leads a team to do the same.

General Manager - Mandarin speaking – China

We are seeking a General Manager for a luxury global brand’s 5* hotel in Shanghai containing superb residences and a full service luxury hotel. This well know group manages business hotels, resorts, theme parks and other hospitality entities in North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

For this role, our client requires a seasoned General Manager with a good track record, must be fluent in Mandarin, with a 5* luxury hotel experience. You must also have a proven record of demonstrating the ability to manage and build relationships with owners and representatives.

Mandatory Requirements:
Someone who can be the “life of the hotel” and lead a team well.
The individual must have a “charismatic personality” and must also have extensive China knowledge and work experience.
A good pedigree with a “high end operator”, i.e. Hyatt, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Shangri-La, Peninsula, Mandarin or similar only, as they will be required to have credibility with the owners.
A proven track record with a stable career history.
Extensive experience in hotel management in large scale operations in Asia.
Complete knowledge in the functions essential to operate hotels of a large size 400 rooms plus.
A thorough knowledge of hotel’s operating policies and standards would be expected.
Ability to co-ordinate functions into efficient and coherent operation.
Good owner relationship is always important.
Diploma/Degree/Professional Qualifications in Hotel Management.

Head of Hotel Development – Singapore / Hong Kong

A very well respected Hong Kong real estate and hotel group with brands in the luxury market seeks an experienced Development expert who “can hit the road running”.

My client asked for a “closer” someone who can not only make introductions, but also help finalize the purchase and management agreements.  This is a boutique group, so you can take the project from lead to final signature. 

This role can be based in Singapore, but preferably in Hong Kong.  A Mandarin speaker is a big plus, but not mandatory

The Head of Development will help lead the expansion of the group and will be integral to the implementation of the development strategy for the group’s expansion in SE and NE Asia.  They will not be responsible for China.  You must have a proven track record in development in SE Asia within an International hotel company, spanning city centers, long term stay and luxury resorts. 

The desired candidate is likely to possess a University degree in Hotel Administration or Business Administration, a minimum of 7 years’ experience in hospitality development or related experience.  Familiarity with the capital markets is an added advantage.

Expertise in hotel feasibility and valuation, management contract negotiation, real estate finance, acquisition and general hotel development experience and understanding of development patterns and of the hospitality sector are critical characteristics.

As an integral member of the company’s executive team, the candidate must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and exemplify the highest standards of honesty, integrity and discretion.

Hotel Manager – Collingwood, Ontario, Canada

The Hotel Manager’s role is the #2 person in charge of the resort, and is an incredibly hands on, yet rewarding opportunity for the right individual.

Our client is one of the top year around Resort in the Collingwood area is seeking a Hotel Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and a strong  Room Division experience especially in Housekeeping and Maintenance.

Corporate Lifestyle Hotel/Hospitality Interior Designer – Florida, USA

(Only those who have US Citizenship or US Work permission will be considered)

A major American Hotel Group who manages luxury properties and casinos in the USA and the Caribbean, seeks a Corporate Interior Designer for their Miami Florida head office with an extensive background in high-end hotels worldwide.

The primary responsibilities for the Corporate Interior Designer are to lead and direct the Interior Design department operations. This includes, but is not limited to, creating and executing a strategic plan to develop and build new, cutting edge, significant interior design concepts. Must have extensive experience in all project phases from concept through to completion, as well as top-notch design, graphic and presentation skills. Lifestyle and Contemporary design experience is mandatory.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years’ interior design experience with major 5-star properties like, 1Hotel, W Hotels, SLS, Edition, Morgan’s Hotel Group, etc. They must be extremely creative and resourceful and have a sharp eye for design trends and attention to detail. Time management and the ability to meet deadlines is vital.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an architectural office environment is required and an architectural background is preferred, but not mandatory. Person will report to COO and work in tandem with the VP, Creative Entertainment.

Compensation: Based on experience.

Mandarin speaking Vice President of Development – China

A Mandarin speaking Vice President Development is required by one of the leading hotel and entertainment companies in the world.  This will be a new office to oversee their development in China.

The individual must at this time be holding a senior development role with a well-established hotel group in SE Asia.  You must not only have development experience, but some project management experience as well, since the role will also be as a liaison between the agreements that are already in place as well as secure more development opportunities in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the development within an International hotel company, spanning hotels, resorts and luxury properties.  China and SE Asia region knowledge will be mandatory.

The desired candidate is likely to possess a University degree in Entertainment, Hotel Administration or Business Administration, and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in hospitality development or related experience.

Opening General Manager (Luxury Palace Hotel) – Western Europe

We have retained by one of the leading Global Luxury Boutique Collections to secure an “opening” General Manager for their upcoming palace hotel in Western Europe.

The candidate must be a hands on General Manager due to the unique size of the property (under 150 rooms).  The client would prefer a solid experienced GM from a luxury environment, such as the Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Peninsula Hotels, etc.  You must have a successful history of opening new properties, increasing revenues and profits of existing properties by implementing aggressive marketing initiatives, improving productivity, customer service and teambuilding.

European Union passport and European experience is mandatory.  Eastern European experience is a plus.

The candidate must be creative, have solid profile and quality background with strong owner relations.  No job hoppers will be considered!

The successful General Manager should have the ability to implement company policies and procedures that will meet or exceed owner and management expectations. He/She should have the ability to direct and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.  The role will most likely go to a younger and very energetic individual as the principal of the group are such.

You will be entirely responsible for meeting or improving all hotel budget targets and have the ability to work with the department heads.  Good knowledge of operations and sound business acumen is also desired. 

The compensation will include a six figure net Euro salary, plus accommodation, schooling, etc.  International benefits will also be offered.

Operations Manager – Oman

We are seeking a strong Operations Manager for a 4 star hotel chain resort with over 100 rooms in Oman.

The Operation Manager assists the General Manager in ensuring that all aspects of the hotel are operated to the standards and financial guidelines. He/ she replaces the General Manager in his/her absence and is responsible for the day-to-day business with a special accent on guest relations.

In this role he/she does not take strategic decisions (mid- and long-term) with commitment for the operation, without prior consultation with the General Manager. In performing these duties he/she shall at all times maintain good relations with his/her supervisors, the Department Heads, all staff, as well as, with the local authorities and other key persons.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Meeting of financial targets
2. Setting, implementing and reviewing of Standard Operational Procedures
3. Care of hosting the guests
4. Employee development at all levels
5. Responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the hotel within the Guidelines set by the General Manager, counselling and directing Department Heads which include Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Drink, security and Engineering
6. Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements: Single candidates will be preferred Current or recent experience in the GCC Must be strong in Rooms and Food and Beverage

Salary: $65,000 US per annum, plus full expat benefits

Resident Manager – Indian Ocean

A beautiful luxury award winning 5 star international brand boutique Resort & Spa in the Indian Ocean consisting of numerous beach villas, lagoon villas, suites and 4 restaurants requires an experienced Resident Manager.

The Resident Manager ensures all operational departments perform successfully to their maximum efficiency in accordance with resort standards and are individually profitable in accordance with resort budget guidelines. They would like this individual to have at least 2 years in food and beverage supervision.

Highly energetic and dynamic with at least 3 years of experience in a management role. You must also be consistent and have progressive managerial experience in a 5 star hotel or resort.

This person should also be goal orientated, a strong motivator and someone who believes that achievements only come through a strong team spirit.  He/she must be extremely quality and customer driven with the ability to interact well with both internal and external customers.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience of working in a resort and enjoys a pro-active, hands-on, visible role. Someone who is confident, creative with the ability to communicate exceptionally well at all levels is desired. Vice President of Operations – Hong Kong

A highly regarded International luxury boutique company will be opening their office in Hong Kong and are looking for an experienced multi-unit General Manager with SE Asian experience (mandatory), as well as experience in the luxury boutique market.  These properties have limited service, but have some of the highest customer ratings in the industry!

The VP Operations will report directly to the CEO for assignments and instructions, and lead functions/activities of the group’s operations with other Head of Functions. 

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the workflow of the business to achieve the goals set forth by the COO and lead the team to ensure the business maintains high levels of customer care.
Be technical savvy, keep close watch on market trends in hotels’ operations and update concern parties in a timely manner.
Act as liaison with the owners’ office, other Head of Functions, and Hotel General Managers.
Reinforce the company’s standards and systems and at the same time, take lead to develop and enhance service level and products that are suitable in Hong Kong.

Work Experience:

Minimum 10 years of multi-unit hotel GM’s experience, with minimum of 5 years working experience in SE Asia.  Hong Kong experience a plus!
Corporate experience in international or luxury brand is preferable, but not mandatory.
Experience with creating and implementing processes that result in quality business performance.
He/She also should have great execution skills while setting realistic steps and timelines.
Proven track record in making sound business decisions, having solid leadership skills and the ability to direct and motivate staff.


Bachelor Degree holder or above in Hotel Management is preferred


Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong planning and budgeting.
Strong analytical, leadership and organizational skills.

Vice President Operations – Middle East

Reporting to the CEO of this well respected group, which flourishes in hotels, resorts and restaurants, we require a “right hand man/woman” to assist the CEO in running their  five 4 star hotels and help open 3 more in the next 24 months.

Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in all operational departments within 4 star hotel group in UAE or Middle East is mandatory.

Our client seeks a VP of Operations who understands multi hotel operational standards and has in the past been a senior General Manager with a well-known brand or multi-unit General Manager and done hotel openings in the past.

He/she will be involved in establishing the business and the successful implementation of action plans, training and staff development, revenue and cost management.  You will supervise and direct all General Managers, as well as marketing and promotions and maintaining excellent business standards with business associates and government authorities.

You must also have the ability to develop and establish business policies, playing a lead role in determining strategic goals and objectives for your hotels.

Mandatory requirements are:
•Must have recent operational and management history in the UAE.
•15 to 20 years of hotel experience.
•Specialization in leadership development
•Recent experience in a luxury brand.
•Exposure to 4 star business and leisure hotels is an asset.
•Current or recent history in multi-unit management is very important.
•Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management.
•Arabic speaking preferred
