Senior Management Opportunities

Director of Information Technology (IT) – Western USA / Hawaii

An extremely knowledgeable and experienced IT professional is required for one of the most beautiful and award winning traditional resorts in Western USA and in Hawaii.  These resorts exude not only glamour, but also has multiple food & beverage outlets, as well as extensive outdoor and indoor recreational facilities, such as Spa, Golf, horse riding, swimming pools, etc. 

Our client’s first preference would be a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with certifications in; Security, ISC SCCP, ISC CISSP, ISC ISSAP. 

Other certification preferences include (but are not limited to):
GIAC Security Essentials Certification
GIAC Security Leadership Certification
ISACA Certified Information Security Manager 

Knowledge of hotel industry terminology, concepts and methodologies, along with extensive experience in enterprise security architecture design and management of both physical and logical information security systems is important for this role.   
The important skills/knowledge for this role include strong understanding of the PCI and HIPAA legislation, requirements and compliance, excellent time management, communication, organizational and decision-making skills.  You are also required to have demonstrated experience in security operations with respect to server and network systems, web applications and/or databases.     
To qualify for this role you must also have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to create and maintain formal written policies and procedures.  

Important IT related skills include; Microsoft Word / Excel / Powerpoint / Outlook / Project / Visio and MS Windows environment.  Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other industry related standard network administration methodologies and tools.

Arabic speaking Director of Business Development (opening) – Sultanate of Oman 

An experienced Director of Sales & Marketing is required to open a 250 room beautiful new resort opening in Oman that will be visited by leisure and business travelers from all over the Middle East and worldwide.  This new property comprises of restaurants, lounge, large meeting/banquets and leisure facilities for both adults and children. 

This 4-5 star brand is highly respected World Wide and its name is a household label… This post will report to the Cluster General Manager, as well as Area Director of Sales and Business Strategies.  Their preference is a Lebanese or Jordanian citizen or similar. 
For the Director of Business Development role preference would be given to Arabic speaker, with prior work experience in international hotel chain and with minimum 2 years as Director of Sales and Marketing.  The preferred candidate should also have work experience in the GCC Market. 

He/she will be responsible  for implementing all sales and marketing activities and maximize property’s business opportunities.  You will also be responsible for leading the property's MICE business and be supportive in the implementation of this segment sales strategy and achieve segment revenue goals, overall property goals and guests satisfaction.  

The role is the main link between the property and Area Sales Office.  You will conduct all day-to-day activities related to the sales functions that have a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives. 
A Degree or Diploma from a recognized college or university in the area of Sales & Marketing is preferred. 
Technical knowledge and skills required for this post include; Opera, Sales & Marketing Modules. 
Fluency in Arabic and English are mandatory requirements.

Managing a team of professionals to ensure that the customer satisfaction index is maintained at above 90%
Preparation of the annual business plan as well as annual budgets
Responsible for the financial performance of the hotel as well as maintain an exceptional level of guest satisfaction

General Manager (Club) – Singapore

A world class and highly regarded luxury hospitality property requires a General Manager with the following mandatory qualifications:

Hotel General Manager with luxury Middle East experience – Abu Dhabi/Dubai, UAE 

A 5* hotel brand with properties from New York to Hong Kong seeks a veteran General Manager for their 400+ rooms 5* stylish Hotel in Abu Dhabi.  This is the company’s flagship property and so only General Managers from companies like Hyatt, Shangri-La, Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, etc. will be acceptable to the company and their owners.     

The General Manager needs to be hands on and energetic, have a keen eye for quality and details, with F&B background as well as Marketing and Finance acumen.  The hotel has 6 outstanding outlets (restaurant and bars) plus meeting rooms and large banquet facilities, along with a pool, gym and spa. 

You must be a self-motivated General Manager who will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Hotel, as well as delivering high-end hospitality and exceptional guest experience.   

Vast understanding of the Middle East with a global hotel group is a key asset.  Must have at least 8-10 years in the luxury market. 
The ideal candidate should be creative and enthusiastic with diverse knowledge in Public Relations. “Opening” General Manager for Luxury Members’ Club – Singapore/Malaysia

An exciting new Members’ Club is opening in SE Asia and our client is looking for a top General Manager with working experience in similar Clubs in Hong Kong, China or Singapore.

The General Manager will lead the opening and overall concept and operations of the Clubs various F&B outlets that includes restaurants, bars and banquet facilities.
Opening and SE Asia experience is preferable, but not mandatory.

As the General Manager of this highly anticipated Luxury Club you will be responsible for directing the executive team and working with all F&B staff in turning the Club’s vision and concept into reality and exceeding the expectations of the members.
The General Manager will be responsible for anticipating, avoiding and rectifying potential challenges/issues in construction, design, operations and people management. Your previous experiences, wealth of knowledge and relationship development skills will be required in leading the club, its facilities and staff through a successful opening and into strong, long-term operations.

This role will draw upon your management abilities, operational knowledge and creative thinking; You will be the key player in establishing this Club as the place to be in SE Asia!

Group Director Hotel Operations – Dubai -UAE experience mandatory

We require the talents of a dynamic, youthful and passionate Group Director of Hotel Operations for one of the pioneer hotel groups of Dubai. This role will oversee their diverse portfolio of about a dozen 4 and 5 star hotels.

The ideal candidate must now hold a hotel Regional or VP of Operations title and have at least 5 years prior experience as a General Manager. Our client requested you must have experience in a cluster operations or development role within an international branded or well-known hotel company. He/she must be highly proactive and possess strong knowledge in areas including asset management, team handling & staff development, as well as financials. Our client would preferably like this individual to have extensive experience outside of the Middle East to complement their UAE work history.

This role will report to the Managing Director/COO/CEO of the group. The Group Director of Operations will act as a liaison and direct report for the General Managers of the various properties.


A degree in Hotel Management from an international recognized hotel school is preferred.

Responsibilities will include

•             Regular operational reviews and reports

•             Senior staff selection, supervision and evaluation

Hotel Manager - Florida, USA

Our client, a luxury hotel group, is currently searching for a Hotel Manager for one of their properties in Florida. This outstanding property requires someone with a history of working at global 5 star hotel chains. This hotel includes residential units and outstanding food and beverage operations.

This role, reporting to the General Manager, requires a candidate who has worked predominately in the Rooms Division and Front Office departments of large hotel properties. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hospitality experience including 5 years in a senior role at a large property.

This role will oversee the housekeeping, front desk, guest services and other front line departments of the hotel. As an executive team member you will be responsible for maintaining and executing the high company standards of customer service and guest satisfaction. You must have a keen eye for financial aspects of all decisions and an entrepreneurial mindset capable of identifying way to improve financial performance and guest satisfaction.

It is imperative that you be an excellent communicator capable of leading a large and diverse team. This is a hands on role and you will be expected to learn about those under your supervision and work towards identifying and maximizing your employees strengths while also helping them develop additional skills as necessary. 

Florida experience is not mandatory but highly recommended.

Additional language skills are expected with a preference towards Spanish speaking.

Hotel Manager – Jamaica

Our client, a top rated hotel seeks a Hotel Manager to oversee operations of a very nice property in Jamaica. This position reports to the General Manager and is accountable for overall operations of the resort by participating in the decision-making related to the hotel policy, philosophy, directions, goals and objectives and by taking appropriate action for their implementation as directed.

Candidates must possess a minimum 5 years in an EAM/Hotel Manager role with a top quality and luxury resort/hotel property. Resort experience is a must and they would like to hire someone with current or previous caribbean island resort background.
Oversees the performance of the Rooms Division with the Front Office Manager, the Executive Housekeeper, the Guest Services Manager, the Security Manager and Health Club Manager, F&B and Engineering Departments. Provides guidance and assistance in the execution of their responsibilities and helps them set their respective departmental objectives under the direction of the General Manager.

Directs and controls all Rooms, F&B and Engineering heads to ensure that all day-to-day operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are being met.  Oversees the service standards, quality, consistency and presentation in the outlets under his/her responsibility to ensure that they conform to the requisite standards of the resort and meet or exceed customer expectations.

Chinese speaking General Manager / Resident Manager – Hong Kong

We seek a General Manager for a luxury global brand’s 5* property in Hong Kong containing superb serviced apartments. This well know group manages business hotels, resorts, and other hospitality entities worldwide.
For this role, our client requires a seasoned General Manager/Resident Manager with a good track record in 5* luxury hotel/serviced apartments. 
You must also have a proven record of demonstrating the ability to manage and build relationships with owners and representatives.

Mandatory Requirements: 
The individual must have a “charismatic personality” and must also have extensive working experience in Hong Kong or in Asia.
A good pedigree with a “high end operator”, i.e. Hyatt, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Shangri-La, Peninsula, Mandarin or similar only, as they will be required to have credibility with the owners.
A proven track record with a stable career history.
Extensive experience in hotel management in similar operations in Asia.
Complete knowledge in the functions essential to operate hotels and serviced apartments.

Senior Project Manager New Hotel Openings – Caribbean

Our client is a highly respected USA hotel, resort & Casino Corporation with properties in the USA, Caribbean, and Europe. This Senior Project Manager position will be based in the Caribbean.

Our client’s objective is to expand their footprint throughout the Caribbean with super luxury all-inclusive resorts. They currently own and manage hotels in the USA in the Ritz Carlton Hotel standard.

This person will be totally responsible for directing, organizing and coordinating work between areas of hotel development and construction of the projects. This position is to meet the objectives of growth and continuous improvement of construction and opening processes. The Main objective of this role is to lead and develop a high performance team, delivering high quality projects, on schedule and within established budgeted guidelines.

Key Skills:

Excellent communication skills to be able to deal with all levels of senior development, construction management and principals of this organization and their peers.
Ensure proper management of work between all contractors on different hotel and resort projects.

One of the industry’s most prestigious luxury hotel companies seeks a VP Operations in China.  
Our client would like us to surface a “seasoned pro”, with China Corporate know-how and who is now or has been with  an International or luxury brand.

They are seeking a VP of Operations who understands branding standards and has been a multi-unit General Manager or Vice President role .  China is a challenging environment.  So, someone with familiarity of the terrain would be most suitable.  This is not a role for a “first time China Hotelier”.  The role may  encompass being for a short time an opening General Manager, but within the future include development as well as operations for the group in Asia .
Mandarin language is a major plus and multi-unit experience is mandatory.    

He/she will be involved in the successful implementation of action plans, training and staff development, revenue and cost management.  You will supervise and direct all General Managers, as well as marketing and promotions, and maintaining excellent business relationships with business associates, government authorities, and owners. 
You must also have the ability to develop and establish business policies, playing a lead role in determining strategic goals and objectives for the group’s hotels in Asia. 

Proven track record in making sound business decisions, having solid leadership skills, as well as experience in creating and implementing processes that result in quality business performance are important requirements for this post. 
The company has more hotels in the pipeline.  So, if you have completed or supervised a hotel  opening, it would reflect well on your application.

Requirements for this role are:
